[O]ne of the financial backers of the Islamic mosque and cultural center project in Lower Manhattan once contributed to a terror group, although the investor says the contribution was made because he thought he was giving money to a harmless charity. One of the key players in Sharif El-Gamal’s Mosque near Ground Zero is Egyptian born businessman, Hisham Elzanaty. Fox 5 News has learned exclusively and confirmed with Mr. Elzanaty’s attorney that Elzanaty made a “significant investment” in the development of the mosque near Ground Zero.

Mr. Elzanaty’s attorney tells Fox 5 News exclusively his client believed he was making contributions to an orphanage.But IPT’s Ray Locker claims even back then TV and newspapers were reporting suspicions of the group’s ties to terror. “If you gave money (to HLF) in 1999 you probably had some inkling that HLF was giving money to Hamas and therefore to terrorist operations,” Locker says.

While our gov’t officials would keep a diplomatic placebo stance to protect Americans abroad from attack, I do not see why our gov’t agency in our own yard, like the IRS, SEC, the Attorney General’s offices, and others not involve in the investigation of this matter. This is an outright unexplainable wealth! No body becomes overnight multi-millionaire, even if you labor 24 hrs a day- in real estate commissions at the rate young Sharif El-Gamal presents himself. Not in the midst of years of sinking economy and declining real estate indusry!!! What keeps El-Gamal such an immunity from investigation? Who are they kidding??? Is this not a version of “fruit of poison tree” from El-Gamal turned around with the mosque as a Trojan horse sailing towards into the US soil and welcomed without repudiation from the general public? This is not rocket science to understand, where if not some people in the gov’t wants to condone this sinister in the open eyes of the public. Big petro dollars pouring abroad in highly suspicious? Modern times warfare is not only in amunitions & violence, but occupying the enemies through guise of culture, religions, and economics. How could you now equate the yearly increases in terrorism/wars/security budgets periodically vs this warm welcome of the mosque near WTC. Are these all phony security programs? The hatred of the Muslims vs US will be always be there – here and abroad. It is in their Quoran. We have welcomed some Muslims but it should not occupy us and they do not reciprocally have a welcome sentiment towards Americans. Even our own Muslim-American children do not have their loyalty to the American flag. Democracy has its bound, particularly when it imperils the American security and a possible impetus for terrorism in NYC. Wake up America.
DearMr. Leaf- I’ll try to be brief-during one of your reports you mentioned a person from Roslyn LI who was noted as the gurrantor of the ground zero mosque funding ( halenty ?) your report said he also owned a medical clinic (east tremont ?)-if this is true and he is not a doctor, then he is subject to multiple violations from city/state and possible rico statutes-I have been an insurance fraud investigator for over a decade- I checked out ‘east tremont’-he’s not listed-one of the three clinics by that name uses a ‘rubber stamp’ doctor from Jersey to fool the state agencies-this is common for insurance fraud groups I have dealt with in the past-there is also a P/I in Florida who’s doing independent research on the same matter-I’ve spoken to him as well about this point-if you care to discuss this further contact me @ my e-mail and I’d be glad to share what I know-if there’s a phone number to speak with you, leave it…it’s better to talk directly than long winded e-mails or texting…keep up the good work & thank you GL
